BOMA BRIAN IGANI was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He was born to a mother who was the former Chief Executive Officer Ministry of Education, Mrs. Love West and a father who was the former Permanent Secretary of the Rivers State Government House, Mr. Iyalla Igani. He was raised by a single mother who fondly calls him Tamunoinam meaning ‘God has answered my prayers’; and his grandmother Dora Jackreece. Boma, because of his mother’s love for education was made to go to school and to love academics at a very young age which made him learn how to read and write. Boma because of his grandmother’s values also, had instilled in him the fear of God and the gift of music which he inherited from her which has become more of a career that hubby.

Always desirous to teach and share knowledge, Boma has taught in many schools and conferences and he still continues to teach. He is currently a lecturer at the Kenule Saro Wiwa Polytechnic, Bori in Rivers State, Nigeria.

BOMA’S yearn to helping Nigerian youths, commencing with the youths of his region (the Niger Delta), made him float a project he tagged ‘Project Learn Well’ in 2012. Project ‘Learn Well’ was aimed at capacity building, empowering the youths educationally and vocationally, teaching them skills and the need to shun violence and embrace education because education is power. His vision has always been to impact positive values on the youths and the Project was a free program for the youths of Rivers State on how to develop good communication skills via writing; and how to use the computer. Motivational lecture on THE NEED TO GET EDUCATED was given. Books and other writing materials were also distributed to participants at no cost. It is his aspiration that boys and girls who benefit from his programs use their experiences as stepping stones to achieving greater heights in life.

When the vision became broader, it metamorphosed into FORTIFIED and then later became Fortified Xclusive: The Extended Learning College.
